Questions

Do images from the page come through?

Only if they were saved alongside the HTML and referenced by a relative path. Remote images are not downloaded.

Is JavaScript kept?

No. Scripts, iframes and embedded objects are removed — an EPUB is a document, not an app.

Are my files private?

This tool runs entirely inside your browser — your file is never uploaded anywhere. It stays on your device, and closing the tab is all it takes to remove it.

Is it really free?

Yes. Every tool, every file size, no account. There is no paid tier and nothing is held back.

Is there a file size limit?

Files up to 100 MB convert fine. Bigger than that, try the EPUB Compressor first — it usually shrinks image-heavy books by half.
